We asked Madison how old she was going to be and she kept saying
2 months
With a little practice we finally were able to get her to say
2 years
But whenever someone asks she can't just say 2 she would always have to say
2 years
The cutest moments come from that little mouth.
Madison remains my baby girl. I don't ever think I will see her anything but. I remember holding her for the first time. The moment is one I keep dear to my heart. The first words I spoke to her were "I love you so much baby girl" and that remains true.
My little Madison loves to laugh especially at her Dad's crazy dancing or Mommy's crinkled nose. She smiles often and at everyone. You can find her in the store waving at the people passing by or blowing kisses at the cashiers.
Boo bear remains a favorite nickname. Is that name still appropriate at 13?
Her favorites are string cheese, M M, Minnie or Mickey Mouse, Sully, Humpty Dumpty, Puzzles, Painting, Baby, Going to the Park, Watching Carson get his Diaper Changed and Playing with both her Grandparents.
In the morning I here "Good Mornen Mom" and then Carson gets "Mornen Carson"
Before her nap I here "Mom, Mom, Eat, Eat, Play, Play" and then she finally runs out of distracting tactics. She lays her head on the bed and falls asleep.
At meal time I here "No" to any and every option of food provided. She remains a fickle eater. Usually we have 1 good day of eating to every 4 days of minimal eating.
My baby girl is the light of my day. Having lunches together has been a joy. Just hearing her talk, and talk, and talk makes me smile. Usually it goes something like this...

Daddy work, come home
During the evening I here "Bath, Bath, Carson Bath too"
As we slowly walk to her room before bed I here "Night Night Mommy" and every now again she touches my face, looks me in the eye and says "Thank you Mommy." Yes, those little words melt my heart as well. About 2 or 3 months ago she became a big girl {Mommy and Daddy were not ready}. All she wants is to lay in her bed while Mommy and Daddy kiss her goodnight. We miss our cuddle time. We place a blanket over her, have her 11 stuffed animals/babies/toys/legos/picnic baskets around the bed and whisper I love you.
There is never a dull moment and we are always on the move, either reading, crafting, trying to eat or playing at the park.
