my adorable 1 year old

Yes, that is her foot :)

front room functionality

The front room has always been a "pretty" room.  No real functionality because we had plenty of space every where else.  Now our family is growing....Our space is shrinking.

The front room used to be this....A picture from 2009.  Now we have added since this time but I can't find a more recent picture.

And now the front room is beautiful, cozy, function office space.  I feel like we use this space 10 times more often.  Either Ben or I are on the computer and the other one is cozy in the chair.  I love it!!!

Yes, the desk is in the center of the room on purpose ;)

The roman shades Ben sewed up.  I agree...I am so lucky!!

Don't they look awesome!

Our family wall

The picture Ben edited in Photoshop.  The "pink bow" picture as I now refer to it as is my FAVORITE!  He put the picture in black and white and changed the flower colors...It could not be more perfect!

"The Viking" ~ Jannic (pronounced yan-erik) the Norwegian (husband of Pia)

Madison has a weekly schedule:
2 days a week ~ Daycare
1 day a week ~ Pia's

Pia loves Madison and Madison truly loves Pia.  She opens her arms when we go to her house and starts playing right away....Forgetting about Mommy.  Pia talks to her in Norwegian which I love and eats all the DELICIOUS Norwegian food Chef Pia creates. I feel like she is getting extra cultured (haha)  I love the bond they have and appreciate Pia more than I can ever express.  Leaving Madison there is like leaving her with grandparents, she gets that much love.
