diane's pumpkin patch

We wanted to go to a pumpkin patch this year. The opportunity for family time and lots of cute pictures could not be passed up. Grandma and Grandpa Stewart had come for a weekend visit so we took decided to head 45 minutes south to Canon City. Diane's Pumpkin Patch was everything and more. The pumpkins were good, the corn maze was unforgiving (we lasted about 15 minutes and gave up), the baby calf and bunnies were Madison's favorite along with the corn box (aka corn instead of sand). Here are a few of the great pictures.

P.S. I wanted to post about 50 but had to limit myself. There were so many great pictures of Madison and of Madison and Grandma. Priceless moments for sure!

photography skills

Ben has been trying to develop some photography skills. He has the basics down and now is testing/trialing/tweaking his ability to capture the essences of our surroundings. Madison has been is muse and so has the beautiful fall colors of the season. Here are a few of the AMAZING pictures.

new fly rod

Thank you Thank you Thank you for a wonderful gift from Grandma and Grandpa Stewart. Gary wanted to buy something for Ben that he could have forever. The perfect gift...A new Sage Fly Rod.

Yes, you are like me. Really?!?! A fly rod but has you all have seen in our previous blogs, fishing is a must do in the spring/summer/fall months. Ben could not be happier and really won't even shut up about it!
