Look at the growth!

I have never been good at gardening so I was a bit intimidated last year. This year I have turned a new leaf and my flowers are doing wonderful. It has become a true enjoyment on mine to walk outside everyday and look at the new buds or the growth of the plants. Here are a few pictures.

Some of my favorite are the red/orange ones. They look exactly like daisy's and do very well in CO climate. I am just so proud...haha =)

Let the tiling begin!

My oh so wonderful husband always keeps himself busy. Last night he started tiling and did so until about 2 AM!!! He did a wonderful job as usual. We picked this pinwheel design to be a little different. He has few cuts left on the floor and will start the tiling on the wall in the bathtub soon...Cant wait!

The In Laws Come To Visit! (Yes it is a good thing...LOL)

Ben's parents came to visit us this weekend. We had lots of fun at the Senior Open Golf Tournament at the Broadmoor (super fancy hotel). We all really wanted to see the course and the players. Both items were accomplished in 100 degree weather. Here are a few of the pictures.

Ben and Gary brought out the remote control airplanes and flew Saturday night. The had some good, calm conditions. Mary and I watched for a bit then decided to take a nice stroll around the neighbor. What a peaceful evening!

We also played some golf but this time didn't get as lucky, it poured out and we were all stuck under the bridge for a good twenty minutes. After the rain passed, it turned out to be a beautiful day. We also got some good pictures in the basement with a few of the new updates.
