new toy storage

We have this eye sore in our living room that I have NEVER liked but the convenience of Madison's toys being accessible out weighed the aesthetics look of it.  I had been looking for nice storage bins (all were way out of my $25 budget) or a different location.  I just about given up until I remembered we had a storage bin under our closet hanger in the entry way.  YES!!!  The location was perfect (I could see her but still function around the house) and I no longer had to see this clutter of toys every time I looked at the TV.  Perfect!!

After!!!  She can reach into the toy box easier and see more of her toys!  Win, win.

Now...what to do with all these bags I had there?!?!

Grandma Overturf has left us on earth but now is spending glorious days with God in Heaven.  We have wept and rejoiced in this beautiful loving daughter, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.  She will be missed every day by us on earth as she celebrates her new life in Heaven.

We can't wait to see you some day Grandma!

Many people ask me about this applesauce that you can squeeze from a tube and the kids just suck it on up.  Because of this I thought I would share Madison's love for this applesauce.  Mommy loves how simple it makes her life as well.

Notice Mommy's lips.  Apparently you have to mimic your child when he/she sucks it up as well.

And don't forget the lid Mommy (her favorite part second from eating it is putting the lid on and off a thousand times)

It is ripped out!!!  Just pulled right off her head.  She even will check randomly through out the day to be sure Mommy didn't sneak it in.  Little Stinker!!!

He is risen!!!

We had such a GREAT weekend with Grandma and Grandpa Stewart.   Our last day was Easter Sunday and good food, fun gifts were shared!

Our baby girl looks like a little girl more and more each day.  Her teeth are ALL coming in (She has a saber tooth that I can never get a great picture of and 3 molars) and her hair is getting long...And no bows aloud (that will be blogged about as well...Mommy is not happy). 

Her Easter dress was bought by Grandma and Grandpa Benson....THE PERFECT ADORABLE DRESS!!  Even Ben said the other day that girls are fun because you get to dress them up more ;)  YES!!!  He has come around!!!

Okay...yes, I am a bit sporadic and distracted today.  My child decided she needed about 5 things in the middle of my three sentences so let us digress into the very adorable Easter pictures!

This is a puppet book and she was actually scared the very first time she saw it.  As you can tell, she warmed up very quickly to the idea!

I just had to put these all on because it is the sweetest thing to be.   I really believe she initially got this from Aunt Keila, who did it all the time when she was little.  Now she is finally able to do it herself and she gets them puckered!!

easter weekend celebration

Grandma and Grandpa Stewart came down and enjoyed a beautiful Easter weekend.  With all the cute pictures I had to split this one up ;)

Ben took Friday off and we had delicious pizza, did a little shopping and enjoyed the nice weather at Cheyenne Mountain Zoo.  Since we got the season pass we have been taking full advantage of the fun.  Madison REALLY loves seeing the animals.  She will start flapping her arms or waving at them.  Even doing the "OOO" sound, almost like a little monkey.  Her eyes get big and her smile will widen when she first sees those giraffes!!

P.S. I know I need to edit the amount of pictures....BUT...I have a complex.  I can't decide!!!
