little lamb

Our little lamb has become the new nickname of our second child, expected October 7th, 2012.

Ben and I had many conversations about when is the "right" time.  Do we wait 4 years so Madison would be able to help more and be more independent or do we have them close together so they both can play with similar toys being closer in age.  Most people have no problem telling you what the "right" decision is but most really don't know being they have only been on one side of the fence. Ben and I just decided to take the plunge.  And...

TADA!!!

We are pregnant with our beautiful baby.  (yes, all we had to do was say TADA and one month later we were pregnant).

I am 9 weeks along as of Friday, March 2.  We had our first Ultrasound last Monday and the doctor felt everything looked great!  He/She has a very healthy heart beat and growing at just the right rate.  We will be finding out the sex (no judging) in about 4-5 weeks.  Truly, healthy is what we want.  I know how cliche that sounds but HONESTLY we really don't care boy or girl.  A girl would be fun just to see the sister bond (especially since my sister and I have a close relationship) but I would love to see what a little boy would look like (plus one of my friends said, you need a boy so Madison doesn't have to be drug fly fishing every weekend).  Either way we are thrilled to pieces to announce the expected second child in a few short months.

3-D pictures because our doctor likes us ;)

This is a great picture of the yolk sac.  That small little circle.

That little black "blog" (aka our child) is the little lamb at 8 weeks old.

The standard black and white 2-D photo.

Congrats Ben and Cassie and big sister! How exciting. Coming from a family that has kids close together, it's great....busy, but great!
