tot school {Colors ~ Red/Pink}

I have continued with trying new activities to encourage learning for Madison.  Good or bad, learning or not, the activities have been really fun.  Madison gets excited when I say we are going to learn today {she knows that means fun, messy activities}.

Painting

We did this a couple of times.  Using just a toilet paper roll she stamped hearts all over the paper.  She definitely can say things are pink {even if it is say...Purple or Blue or Black or well you get my point}.  The art work was super cute and I plan on framing it for her room.

Stickers

Stickers are always a huge hit.  This time we used all the red stars and read dots.  I probably said "red" over a hundred times and when daddy came home and asked what color the apple was, "Pink" was the answer.  Patience is a virtue ;)

Chalk

I tried spicing up chalk time with a water bottle and that really was a treat.  Madison may have drowned over 50 ants but boy did she learn her "PINK" water bottle could do some damage!

Carson also enjoyed the blood bath of the ants

Watercolors

Madison was shaking she was so excited.  Holding that brush and dipping it in all the colors was better than Christmas morning.  The beginning started out clean, proper and just how I imagined.  P.S. Note the "Pink" bowl (I may have been favoring Pink because I knew she would answer the color question correctly, is that bad?!?!}

Carson couldn't even contain his excitement!

Then disaster city hit....

First the high chair

Then her body work tattoos

She is so proud of herself

Pipe Cleaners

Any parents reading this...Try it!  Easy, cheap, clean entertainment.  We did this for a good 30 minutes. Look at all those PINK pipe cleaners,  :|

Markers

Need I say more......

Ball

We learned what kicking, throwing and bouncing were.  She already understood them all but is now able to identify which goes to what action a bit better.

Beans

We had alot of fun cooking, cleaning, throwing, sorting, counting, dumping and measuring.

Carson is always extra excited to learn as well

We had more activities like reading, puzzles, singing and dancing but here are a few of the newer activities.

Tot School has been really fun for the both of us.  Even if the messes get bigger and the time cleaning is longer I feel like the bonding and learning is worth every minute.

P.S. I may {of course, never, me? no way} stress about the mess at times but then I look at Carson smiling ear to ear because Madison is giggling about putting dried beans in her diaper {no, my perfect children play nicely, never making any mess} and it just makes me laugh, smile and thank the Lord for giving me this time with my growing goof balls.
