I rarely stay home with the kids all day, not because I am that busy, more because I will go crazy. Just being enclosed with mountains of toys we love to throw everywhere but never really play with, makes me start to have anxiety over all the stuff I should be doing (laundry, dishes, picking up these catapulted objects). Instead, I choose to pack the munchkins up and have an adventure.
Adventure definition - Going to the grocery store, watching the ducks behind the library, Target...
{Adventure just sounds more fun than "We need more toilet paper"}
Here is a typical day

8:00 - 9:30 Brother's first nap
10:00 - 12:00 First Adventure {Mother Goose Time, Toddler Time, Errands, Splash Pad}
12:00 - 2:00 Brother's second nap and Madison's only nap
2:00 - 4:30 Adventure two {this usually involves Lynn and Caleb, our neighbor, playing in the water}

6:00 Bath time and Bedtime routine {pajamas, read books)
7:00 Bedtime for Carson
7:30 Bedtime for Madison {only because Daddy needs a few extra snuggles}
