I love all the family oriented activities {Mother Goose Time, Toddler Time, Mommy Meet ups} and the neighbors I have met either next door or at the local park.
Really, I think this has helped with the transition immensely. I joined a small play group, invited another mother I met on the playground, and now we try and meet about once a week. It has been such a great time and relief to have other women with children to talk with. Here was one of our fun play dates the other week {Before the plague of RSV invaded our home}.
Before we went to the particular play date Madison said "See Friends!" Her vocabulary is growing and her understanding amazes me.
