The churches are wonderful here and are as common as Walgreens. Many of them are having or supporting these activities. This particular community, Cinco Ranch, along with Trinity Baptist Church put on a great event filled with a Easter Bunny, egg hunt, pony ride, petting zoo, bounce house, cotton candy and clowns making balloon animals...And all for FREE! Madison loved all the fun stuff except the pony ride that did not go over well.
She did not even make it on the pony.
The egg hunt was crazy. I mean what adult feels okay stealing children's eggs...Apparently this dad was competitive and wanted his child to have 20 eggs {limit was clearly stated MULTIPLE times of 8}. When my little lady, who appropriately stood in the correct line with her Daddy, went to pick up eggs there were two left, and only because I was practically sitting on it. Madison knew no different but I did and was upset about this gentlemen. I would not let the incident ruin my day but I vented to Ben multiple times.
We also got some great family pictures. The day was a little cloudy unfortunately but the pictures still look great. I love these pictures with both of my babies. I can't believe this is our life right now. AMAZING! Thank you Lord. You deserve much praise and thanksgiving for blessing us abundantly.
The art of Carson's fall. Poor man was still a bit unsteady at this point {he is much better now} and fell over frequently. Live and learn in our house ;)
I know.....He didn't even cry. He thought maybe he could start eating the grass as a consollation.
